This is a very charming ristorante with excellent service and delicious food.  If you're ever in Ramona, please come try it, you won't be disappointed.

Place has really gone down hill.  Not sure if it's been taken over by another buyer or the people that work there just don't care anymore.  The service is by far the worst and the food quality isn't far behind.  I'd save your appetite for something better down the hill or in El Cajon.

This is a humble Italian restaurant here in Ramona.  The parking lot seems straight out of war torn Kosovo.  The standout here is definitely the pizza.  Never had a bad pie.  Probably one of the top two best of Ramona for pizza.  Very reminiscent of Filippi's.

Tried a Torpedo Sandwich at Mamma Rosa Italian Restaurant recently. For $7 it's served on a warm, crusty Italian roll with thick sliced tomato, fresh lettuce and a zesty & flavorful Italian dressing. It's made with a fairly conservative amount of random Italian meats and cheese. I think next time I'll go for the sausage & peppers sammich for a dollar more. Chianti was really good and service outstanding as usual!

My favorite menu item is the build your own pasta meal. For $11 (I think), you get a basket of delicious garlic bread, a soup or salad (their minestrone soup is really good), and can choose from a few different pasta noodles and sauces; the pasta is pretty big. I've also had their house wine which was really good, and their pizza (take out and dine in) is really delicious. The service can be a little slow, but it's not even worth complaining about when the food and wine is so good.

The food is good but if you order the luginni with clams.. DON'T! It is Mostly Garlic with little  bit of clams and pasta.
